These appointments are for patients who cannot wait over the weekend for ”acute” problems. Therefore these appointments are not for medication reviews or routine appointments. Anyone needing urgent care for example with chest pain will need to go to A&E.
We can be contacted direct on 01270 273666. Staffed by GPs and Nurses, the staff will either offer advice, invite you to attend the Centre for treatment or, in exceptional circumstances, arrange for a home visit.
PLEASE NOTE this is not a drop-in centre. It is there to deal with urgent cases, which need immediate attention and attendance is by appointment only.
Outside normal hours it is very unlikely you will be seen by your own doctor. All doctors & nurses keep accurate records of every patient seen and details will be forwarded to your own doctor.
You can also call NHS 111 for medical advice or help outside of your surgery opening hours, allowing you to get help if needed, It is not an emergency 999 and you will not be seen by a GP or nurse, you will simply speak to someone and get advice.
