Patient Involvement

New Ways to Engage with Our Patients

At Earnswood Medical Centre, we are always looking for ways to strengthen how we listen to and involve our patients.

Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) has been an excellent forum over the years, and we are very grateful to its members for their dedication and input. Their commitment has helped us shape many aspects of patient care at the practice.

As healthcare evolves, it is important that our engagement reflects the diversity of all our patients – including younger people, working adults, minority communities, and those with additional accessibility needs. We also want to make it easier and more convenient for more patients to have their say.

What’s Changing

From 1st September 2025, we will be moving away from the PPG in its current form. Instead, we will be introducing a range of new ways for patients to get involved, including:

  • Focus groups on key topics
  • Digital engagement platforms
  • Practice-wide surveys
  • Targeted outreach to underrepresented groups

These approaches will help us capture a broader range of views and make sure that every patient’s voice has the opportunity to be heard.

Staying Involved

Former PPG members and all patients are warmly invited to take part in these new opportunities. We will share details on upcoming focus groups and surveys via our website, text messages, and notice boards in the practice.

We look forward to working with you to shape the future of patient care at Earnswood Medical Centre.
