What is a DNA?
A DNA occurs when a patient does not attend a scheduled appointment and does not notify the practice in advance. Missed appointments can have a significant impact on the efficiency of our service sand the care we provide.
Our Approach:
- Notification: We kindly ask patients to inform us as soon as possible if the yare unable to attend an appointment. This allows us to offer the slot to another patient in need.
- Monitoring: We keep track of missed appointments and may contact patients who miss appointments without prior notice.
- Support: If you are experiencing difficulties attending appointments, please let us know. We are here to help and can discuss alternative arrangements if necessary.
- Consequences: Repeated DNAs without valid reasons may result in a review of your registration with the practice.
