Did Not Attend Policy (DNA)

Our practice is committed to providing high-quality care to all our patients. To ensure that we can offer timely appointments and services, we have implemented a Did Not Attend (DNA) policy. This policy is designed to address the issue of missed appointments which can lead to longer waiting times and reduced availability for other patients.

What is a DNA?

A DNA occurs when a patient does not attend a scheduled appointment and does not notify the practice in advance. Missed appointments can have a significant impact on the efficiency of our service sand the care we provide.

Our Approach:

  1. Notification: We kindly ask patients to inform us as soon as possible if the yare unable to attend an appointment. This allows us to offer the slot to another patient in need.
  2. Monitoring: We keep track of missed appointments and may contact patients who miss appointments without prior notice.
  3. Support: If you are experiencing difficulties attending appointments, please let us know. We are here to help and can discuss alternative arrangements if necessary.
  4. Consequences: Repeated DNAs without valid reasons may result in a review of your registration with the practice.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide the best possible care to all our patients.
